Mawaddah: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam is a scientific journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung, with a frequency of publication three times a year. This journal focuses on legal studies, especially in the realm of Islamic Law, Family Law, Criminal Law, Inheritance Law, Civil Law, and Sharia Economic Law. Mawaddah aims to be a forum for legal academics, researchers, and practitioners in publishing research results and scientific studies relevant to legal developments in Indonesia and the Islamic world. Mawaddah is pleased to announce that we have been accepted into the Scopus database as of December 28, 2025.

In Volume 4, Issue 1 (May 2026 edition), Mawaddah: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam dengan e-ISSN : 3026-6076, p-ISSN : 3031-5247 features authors from 11 countries, namely (Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Ukraine, Türkiye, Russia, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Germany, Philippines, and Japan). These contributors are affiliated with various universities and research institutions, reflecting significant contributions to the development of Islamic family law studies, legal scholarship, and socio-religious studies at both national and international levels. The diversity of the authors’ affiliations and countries of origin demonstrates the journal’s expanding academic network and the increasing level of cross-border research collaboration. All articles in this issue are available online and accessible through open access. The journal is published biannually, in May and November.
